What You Need

  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Lemon juice
  • Soft cloths
  • Salt
  • Warm water

Step 1: Prepare the Solution

Start by mixing half a cup of white vinegar with two tablespoons of baking soda and stir until it forms a paste. You can also use lemon juice instead of white vinegar, if you prefer.

Step 2: Apply the Paste

Take paste that you prepared and apply it to the stain. Let it sit for about 30 minutes, then rinse it off with warm water.

Step 3: Scrub It Off

Mix some salt into the remaining paste and use a soft cloth to scrub the stain. For stubborn spots, you can use a toothbrush. Keep scrubbing until the stain is gone.

Step 4: Finishing Touches

Rinse the area with warm water one more time and dry it with a clean cloth. Now your espadrilles are rust-free!
