Create a soapy solution using liquid dish soap and warm water. Gently scrub any stubborn rust stains with the soft toothbrush. If the stain persists, then move onto the next step.
Mix equal parts white vinegar and baking soda to create a paste. Apply this paste to the rust stains and let it sit for several minutes. Then, scrub the stain with soft toothbrush. Rinse off the paste with warm water.
Once all the rust stains are gone, carefully dry the shoes with a clean cloth. Make sure you don't rub too hard or else the fabric could get damaged.
You did it! Now you can enjoy your sparkling clean shoes again.
