  1. Start by mixing equal parts white vinegar and dish soap together in a bowl.
  2. Using a clean cloth, dab the mixture onto rust stain.
  3. Gently rub mixture into the stain in a circular motion.
  4. Let the mixture sit on the stain for at least 10 minutes.
  5. Using a clean cloth dampened with water, gently scrub the stain until it is no longer visible.
