Using Dish Soap and Baking Soda

Start by creating a paste with one tablespoon baking soda and one tablespoon liquid dish soap. Rub this paste on the affected area. Let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing it off with warm water. Then, let your anorak air dry.

Using White Vinegar

If the dish soap and baking soda mixture doesn't work, try using white vinegar. Start by making a solution of one part white vinegar and two parts water. Soak a clean rag in the solution and apply to the affected area of the anorak. Leave on for about 15 minutes. Remove rag and rinse area with warm water. Let the anorak air dry.

Using Lemon Juice

Another option is to use lemon juice. Squeeze some fresh lemon juice onto the rust stain and let sit for 15 minutes. Then, rub the fabric together to help loosen the stain. Rinse the area with warm water and allow the anorak to air dry.

Using Rust Remover

If above methods don't work, try using a commercial rust remover. Follow the instructions on the product packaging. This can be a more aggressive treatment, so be sure to spot test it in an inconspicuous area first.

Preventative Steps

Once you have removed the rust stain, do what you can to prevent it from happening again. Be sure to regularly check your anorak for signs of rust stains and treat any spots you find. If you're storing your anorak during the off season, keep it in a cool, dry place.
