Rust stains on clothing can be preventive, and even worse, it can seem like a daunting task to remove them. Before reaching for the bleach, however, there are a few simple steps to take that could potentially save your beloved A line dress from the dustbin! Here is what you need to do:

Step 1: Start by Blotting the Stain

Using a clean white cloth, start by blotting the stain with warm water. Do not rub or scrub the stain as this can make matters worse. Gently blot the stain with the cloth until no more rust appears on the cloth.

Step 2: Make a Paste

Mix together one teaspoon of salt and one tablespoon of white vinegar until they form a paste. Apply the paste to the stain and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Then, gently rub the paste in with your fingers or a soft brush and rinse with cool water.

Step 3: Repeat if Necessary

If the stain is still visible after the first round of cleaning, you may need to repeat the steps above. If necessary, use an old toothbrush for scrubbing the paste into the stain. After rubbing in the paste, rinse the fabric again with cool water.

And that's it! With these simple steps, you can easily get rid of rust stains from your A line dress in no time.
