Steps for Cleaning Rust Stains from Alexander McQueen:
- Start by dampening a clean cloth with water and gently rubbing away any loose rust particles on the fabric.
- Mix one teaspoon of either white vinegar or lemon juice with two cups of warm water.
- Dampen a clean cloth or sponge with the vinegar or lemon juice mixture and gently rub stain until it is removed. Be sure to rinse the cloth or sponge often while you are cleaning, so you don’t spread the rust to other areas of the clothing.
- Once the stain is removed, rinse area with cold water to remove any residue.
- Allow garment to air dry, then inspect area to make sure all of the rust has been removed.
