Mix a teaspoon of gentle liquid detergent with a cup of warm water. Gently dab area with the mixture, making sure not to rub the fabric so that the rouge does not settle further into wrap dress.
Sprinkle a generous amount of baby powder onto the rouge-stained area and allow it to sit for 30 minutes or until the powder has absorbed all of the rouge. Then use an old brush or a lint roller to remove the powder.
Fill a bowl with cold water and soak the area for 5 minutes. This should help to remove any remaining rouge stains. Once done, rinse the area with warm water.
Now that the stain has been removed, you can treat area with a gentle liquid detergent. Rub the detergent into the fabric and then allow it to sit for 10 minutes before rinsing with warm water.
Once the area has dried, hang the wrap dress up and let it air dry. Avoid using a tumble dryer as this can shrink the dress.
Cleaning rouge stains from your wrap dress doesn't have to be a daunting task. Follow these steps and you will have your dress looking as good as new in no time.
