Whether it's a surprise squirt of ketchup or a spilled cup of juice, stains on your wallet can make you feel embarrassed that you're carrying a dirty item around with you all day. Rouge is a particularly stubborn stain, but don't worry! It's relatively easy to remove with a few common household items.
To start, create a cleaning mixture using liquid laundry detergent, white vinegar, and hot water. You don't need much of the ingredients, so use following measurements:
Once you have your solution prepared, soak a cotton ball in it and then dab the stain gently. Make sure to blot and not rub the stain, as this may increase the spread of the stain. Leave the solution on the stained area for at least five minutes before rinsing.
After rinsing stain, dry it gently with a clean towel. Avoid rubbing the wallet to prevent the stain from spreading any further. Finally, let the wallet air-dry completely before using it.
By following these steps, you should be able to clean off rouge stains without much difficulty. If the stain does not come out with the first attempt, repeat the steps again until it is gone. Good luck and happy cleaning!
