Before treating the stain, it's important to pre-treat the area. Begin by running cold water directly over the stained portion of the shoe. This helps to loosen up the rouge and works to prevent it from permanently settling in. Let the water run for about one to two minutes.
After pre-treating the affected area, grab a small container and mix together 1 teaspoon of liquid laundry detergent and 2 cups of warm water. Dip a towel or cloth into this mixture and dab it directly onto the stain. Move the fabric in a circular motion while pressing gently. Don't rub too hard, as that could shred the fabric of the shoe.
Once you’ve removed most of stain, rinse away the remaining soap and water. Wipe the area with a dry cloth and allow the shoe to air dry completely. And that’s it!
