The simplest and most effective way to remove rouge stains from toys is to use detergent. First, gently clean off any excess rouge with a damp cloth or sponge. Next, mix detergent with warm water and apply it directly onto stain with a cloth or sponge. Finally, rinse cloth or sponge thoroughly with water and leave the toy to air dry.
If detergent isn’t enough to get rid of rouge stains, you can also try using vinegar. First, cover the stain with a thick layer of white vinegar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes before wiping away excess. You can also add a few drops of dish soap to the vinegar solution to help loosen and lift the stain. Once the stain has been removed, let the toy air dry.
If neither detergent or vinegar works, you can also try using baking soda. First, ensure that the toy is completely dry. Then, mix equal parts of baking soda and water until it forms a paste. Apply the paste directly onto the rouge stain and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Once the paste is dry, wipe it away with a damp cloth. Finally, rinse the cloth thoroughly with water and leave the toy to air dry.
To prevent rouge stains on toys, it’s a good idea to regularly check them for any wear and tear. If you notice any frayed edges or tears in the toy’s fabric, repair them as soon as possible. It’s also important to keep toys away from any rouge-based products and to make sure toys are cleaned regularly.
