How To Easily Remove Rouge Stains From Your Favorite Tops

Rouge stains can ruin your favorite tops and make them look old and worn. If you have a stubborn rouge stain on your favorite top, don't despair! Follow these easy steps to help restore it back to its former glory.

Using a Liquid Detergent

  1. Soak the garment in cold water for 1-2 hours.
  2. Apply a few drops of liquid detergent directly to stain and let it sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Rub detergent into the stain until it begins to lather.
  4. Rinse detergent off with cold water.
  5. Repeat steps 2-4 if necessary.

Using White Vinegar

  1. Mix 1 tablespoon of white vinegar with ¼ cup of cold water in a bowl or bucket.
  2. Soak the garment in the mixture for 1-2 hours.
  3. Rub the stain gently with a soft cloth.
  4. Rinse the garment with cold water.
  5. Repeat steps 2-4 if necessary.

Using Rubbing Alcohol

  1. Dampen a soft cloth with rubbing alcohol.
  2. Press the cloth against stain for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Rinse the garment with cold water.
  4. Repeat steps 2-3 if necessary.

Using Baking Soda

  1. Mix 1 cup of baking soda with 1 gallon of cold water in a large bowl or bucket.
  2. Soak the garment in the mixture for 1-2 hours.
  3. Gently rub the stain with a soft cloth.
  4. Rinse garment with cold water.
  5. Repeat steps 2-4 if necessary.
