Detergent and Water Solution

A solution of water and mild detergent is generally all that is needed to remove a rouge stain from your Teneriffe lace. Soak the lace for about an hour in this solution and then gently rub stain with a soft cloth or toothbrush. Rinse off the solution and then let the lace dry completely. Repeat if necessary.

Baking Soda and Hydrogen Peroxide

Another option for removing rouge stains from Teneriffe lace is to mix a paste of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. Apply the paste directly to stained area and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Then use a soft-bristled brush or cloth to gently scrub away the stain. Rinse off paste, let the lace dry completely, and repeat if necessary.

Vinegar and Baking Soda

Mix equal parts apple cider vinegar and baking soda in a bowl to create a paste. Apply the paste to the stained area, making sure to cover it completely. Let the paste sit for 30 minutes and then use a soft cloth or brush to scrub away the stain. Rinse off the paste, let the lace dry completely, and repeat if necessary.

Ammonia and Water Solution

Create a solution of 1 tablespoon of ammonia and 2 cups of water. Soak the stained area of the lace for about 15 minutes and then use a soft bristled brush or cloth to scrub away the stain. Rinse off the solution and then let the lace dry completely. Repeat if necessary.
