Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

Before you begin, make sure you have all the supplies you need to tackle the rouge stain:

  • Clean rags or towels
  • Mild detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Spot remover

Step 2: Test Out the Agents

Start by testing a small area of the taffeta fabric with each of the agents to make sure they won't damage the fabric before using them. Begin with the mild detergent and rub it gently into the stain using a damp cloth. Then do the same with the white vinegar and spot remover. If any of the agents cause discoloration or damage, do not use them on rest of the fabric.

Step 3: Removal Treatment

Once you've tested out the different agents, decide which one will be best for treating the stain. Start by applying the agent to the stained area. Using a clean cloth, gently dab at stain and work agent into the fabric. You may need to repeat this step several times in order to fully remove the stain.

Once the stain is removed, rinse the area with cold water and allow it to air dry.
