What You'll Need

  • Dish soap
  • Baking soda
  • White vinegar
  • Cold water

Step 1: Soak Socks

Mix 1 tablespoon of dish soap, 1 tablespoon of baking soda, and 1-2 tablespoons of white vinegar in a bowl of cold water. Soak your socks in this mixture for about an hour. This will help loosen the rouge stain.

Step 2: Scrub the Stains

Once the socks have been soaking for an hour, take them out and rub the rouge stains with a clean cloth or scrub brush. If stains are still visible, repeat the soaking and rubbing process until they disappear.

Step 3: Rinse and Dry

Once the stains have been removed, rinse the socks with cold water and dry them on lowest setting of your dryer. This will help prevent any remaining rouge from setting in.

And voila - spotless socks!
