A Few Simple Steps to Remove Rouge Stains from Slippers
- Start by blotting stain with a white cloth or paper towel. Do not scrub, as that may spread the stain further.
- Create a mixture of lukewarm water and mild laundry detergent. Dip a cotton ball or soft brush into the solution and start working on the stain from the outside inwards.
- Once stain starts to disappear, wipe away with a dampened white cloth.
- For tougher stains, make a paste with baking soda, borax, and lukewarm water. Spread the paste on the stained area and use a damp cloth to wipe it away.
- Allow the slippers to air dry completely before wearing.
