What You’ll Need
- White vinegar
- Laundry detergent
- A sponge
- Baking soda
- A tooth brush
Step 1: Dab Stain with a Sponge
Before you start treating your sleep shirt with any cleaning materials, use a clean sponge and gently dab up the rouge stain. Do not rub it, as this can spread the rouge around and make it harder to remove.
Step 2: Apply White Vinegar
Once the rouge stain is removed from the sleep shirt as much as possible with a sponge, pour white vinegar onto the stain. The acidity of the vinegar will help to break down the rouge.
Step 3: Sprinkle Baking Soda Over The Stain
After you have applied the vinegar, sprinkle baking soda over the affected area. This will help to absorb any excess moisture and ensure that the stain doesn't set into the fabric.
Step 4: Scrub Stain with a Toothbrush
Now that you have blotted the stain and applied vinegar and baking soda, get a toothbrush and gently scrub the area. This will help to loosen up stain and make it easier to remove.
Step 5: Wash Shirt in Detergent
Finally, put stained sleep shirt in the washing machine with regular laundry detergent. Wash on a regular cycle and then let the shirt dry naturally. Once dry, the rouge stain should be gone!
