If you’ve recently splurged on a new Rouge bag or even if you’re just dealing with a Rouge stain from when you accidentally dropped your handbag, it can be difficult to take care of the Rouge stains without damaging the bag itself. The good news is that removing these stains does not have to be a huge ordeal — all you need is a few simple household items, and you’ll have your bag looking great again in no time.

What You'll Need

  • A small bowl
  • 1 teaspoon of dish soap
  • ½ cup of warm water
  • ½ teaspoon of white vinegar
  • Cleaning cloth/sponge

Cleaning Instructions:

  1. Combine the dish soap and the ½ cup of warm water into the bowl.
  2. Stir mixture until the soap has dissolved.
  3. Add the white vinegar, and mix the ingredients together.
  4. Dip the cleaning cloth/sponge into mixture, and gently blot onto the Rouge stains.
  5. Rinse the cloth/sponge frequently to avoid transferring the Rouge stains onto other parts of the bag.
  6. Continue until the stains are removed, and then wash the bag with cold water and let it dry.

It’s important to remember that you should never scrub or rub stains too hard, as this could cause damage to the material of bag. Also, be sure not to use hot water, as this could also lead to discoloration and fading in fabric.

With these steps, you should be able to get your Rouge bag looking like new again!
