- Clean white rag
- Dish soap
- Laundry detergent
- Stain remover
- Oxygenated bleach
- Warm water
- White vinegar
- Borax powder
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Remove any excess rouge with a clean white rag.
- Apply a few drops of dish soap directly onto the rouge stain.
- Work the soap into the fabric by gently rubbing it in with your fingers.
- Rinse the garment with warm water.
- Mix a solution of laundry detergent and oxygenated bleach, using one part detergent to three parts bleach. Apply it onto the stain and leave it to sit for 10 minutes.
- Rinse the fabric with warm water.
- Mix one cup of white vinegar, two tablespoons of Borax powder, and one tablespoon of laundry detergent in warm water.
- Soak the stained area of the pullover in this mixture for 30 minutes.
- Rinse the fabric with warm water.
- As a final measure, treat the rouge stain with a stain remover and let it sit according to instructions on the product.
- Wash the pullover on the delicate setting.
