What You'll Need

  • Soap or gentle laundry detergent
  • Lukewarm water
  • Sponge
  • White vinegar
  • Clean cloths

Instructions

  1. Mix soap and lukewarm water in a bowl to create a sudsy solution.
  2. Dampen a sponge with the solution and dab gently at the rouge stain.
  3. Do not scrub the stain, as this could cause it to set further into the fabric.
  4. Rinse the area with clean water.
  5. If the stain is still visible, mix one part white vinegar with one part water. Dip a cloth into the solution and blot the stain until it is gone..
  6. Rinse the area with clean water once more.
  7. Allow the fabric to air dry.

Tips

  • For tougher stains, you may need to add a bit of hydrogen peroxide to the vinegar solution.
  • Be sure to test any cleaning solution on a small, inconspicuous area of fabric first.
