Removing Rouge Stains Step-by-Step
- Start by using a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol to gently rub away at stain until it becomes less visible. Make sure not to use too much pressure as this can damage the fabric.
- Once stain has been lightened, create a solution of one tablespoon of ammonia with one cup of warm water and dip a wash cloth into the mixture.
- Gently press damp cloth against the stain for several seconds, then rinse with cold water.
- If the stain still remains, mix one teaspoon of dish detergent in with one cup of hot water and use a sponge or cloth to apply the mixture to affected area.
- Let solution sit for five minutes before rinsing with cold water.
