- Gently blot stained area with a cotton cloth.
- Make a solution of lukewarm water and a few drops of mild detergent. Never use chlorine bleach.
- Blot stain with this solution using a clean cloth, and rinse with clear water afterwards.
- If stain persists, make a paste of equal parts talcum powder and lemon juice. Rub it over stain, and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Use a clean cloth to dab the paste and the stain off the fabric. Rinse it afterwards.
- Repeat if needed, and dry the fabric in the sun. Do not put it in the dryer, as this could set the stain.
