What You'll Need

  • Hydrogen Peroxide
  • Ammonia
  • White Vinegar
  • Baking Soda
  • Cloth Rag

Instructions

  1. Check the tag of your lingerie fabric to determine if it is colorfast. This will determine which products can be used on the fabric without fading or otherwise damaging it.
  2. Mix ½ cup white vinegar and 2 tablespoons of baking soda in a bowl. Apply the paste to the rouge stain and let it sit for 30 minutes.
  3. Mix ammonia and hydrogen peroxide together in a 1:1 ratio in a bowl. Dip a rag in mixture and blot it directly on the rouge stain.
  4. Allow the mixture to soak into the rouge stain for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Rinse with warm water and repeat until the rouge stain is completely gone.

Additional Tips

  • Be sure to not use boiling water as it could damage the fabric.
  • If the stain persists after multiple attempts, try using a small amount of laundry detergent.
  • If all else fails, take the lingerie to a professional dry cleaner.
