1. Wet a cloth and sprinkle baking soda on it

Dabbing a wet cloth with baking soda onto the stain will help to draw out some of the color. Make sure to blot the fabric, not rub it – you don’t want to spread the stain any further. When you’re finished, let the baking soda sit on the stain for a few minutes and then rinse the garment out.

2. Try vinegar or lemon juice

Vinegar and lemon juice are both natural ingredients that work well for removing rouge stains from jeans. Dab either one onto the fabric using a cotton pad or cloth. Leave the liquid to soak into the spot for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse the jeans with cold water and you should see the stain fading away.

3. Use a laundry stain remover

Laundry stain removers are designed for tackling tough stains, so you can rest assured that they’ll do the trick for rouge stains. Apply remover directly to the mark and let it sit for 5 minutes before putting the jeans in the wash. You may want to repeat the process to ensure that all of the stain is gone.

4. Make a paste of salt and dish soap

Combining 1 teaspoon of salt with 1 tablespoon of dish soap gives you an effective paste that’s perfect for getting rid of rouge stains. Rub paste into the affected area and leave it for 30 minutes. Thoroughly rinse the garment and check to see if the stain has been lifted.

5. Opt for a professional dry cleaning service

If you’ve tried all of the above methods and the stain still won’t go away, it may be time to enlist the help of a professional cleaner. With their advanced stain removal techniques, they should be able to get rid of the rouge stain in no time.
