Removing Rouge Stains from Jacquard Fabric
Jacquard fabric is a beautifully textured material that adds style and a sense of luxury to home decor. Unfortunately, some fabrics can become stained easily when cleaning these luxurious materials. One of the most common stains on Jacquard fabric are those caused by rouge, a common blush or makeup product.

Method 1: Spot Cleaning
- Blot the affected area with a clean cloth or paper towel.
- Mix a solution of mild detergent and cold water.
- Using a clean cloth, gently rub the soapy solution into the stain until it is no longer visible.
- Rinse the area with cold water, using a cloth to remove any remaining soap residue.
- Allow fabric to air dry.
Method 2: Deep Cleaning
- Fill a sink or basin with cold water and add a few drops of mild detergent.
- Soak the area affected by the rouge stain for 15 minutes.
- Gently scrub the area with a soft brush or cloth to remove rouge stain.
- Rinse the area with cold water using a cloth to remove any remaining soap residue.
- Allow fabric to air dry.
Reminder
- Be sure to test the detergent on an inconspicuous area of the fabric before using it on the rouge stain.
- Do not use hot water as it may set the stain.
- Do not rub the fabric harshly, as this may damage fabric.
