Step 1: Pretreat Stains

The first step to getting rid of rouge stains is to pretreat them. Start by mixing one teaspoon of dishwashing liquid into one cup of warm water. Use a clean cloth to apply the mixture directly to stain, then gently rub the fabric together. Let the solution sit for fifteen minutes before rinsing it off with cold water.

Step 2: Soak in Stain Remover

Once you've pretreated the stains, it's time to soak the fabric in a stain remover. Fill a basin with cold water and add a half-cup of oxygen bleach to the mixture. Submerge the stained fabric in the solution and let it sit for up to 30 minutes. After the allotted time, rinse the fabric well with cold water.

Step 3: Wash in Cold Water

Finally, launder fabric as usual in cold water. To ensure the best results, add a ½ cup of white vinegar to load. This will help lift any remaining stains and make your fabric look like new!
