Rouge stains are one of the most common stains found on Dobby fabrics. These stains are often caused by oils, makeup, or other cosmetics that are difficult to remove with the usual detergent or brush. Luckily, there are several methods you can employ to get rid of the pesky rouge stains.

What You Will Need

  • White Vinegar
  • Borax
  • Dish Soap
  • Soft Bristle Brush
  • Small Container

Instructions:

  1. Mix equal parts borax and white vinegar in a container.
  2. Soak the stained area of the fabric in the mixture for 15–20 minutes.
  3. Gently scrub the area with a soft-bristled brush to help loosen any particles that may be embedded in the fabric.
  4. Rinse the area with warm water and let dry.
  5. If stain persists, mix a small amount of dish soap with water and rub gently into the fabric.
  6. Rinse the area with warm water again and let dry.

By using these steps, you should be able to quickly and effectively remove rouge stains from Dobby fabric.
