Get Rid of Rouge Stains on Cotton Oxford for Good

Rouge stains can easily be spotted on white cotton oxford, but they don't have to stay there. With a few simple steps and the right cleaning supplies, you can easily remove rouge stains on your fabrics.

What You Need

  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Cleaning cloth
  • Laundry detergent
  • Warm water

Instructions

  1. Mix together equal parts of white vinegar and baking soda in a small bowl until it forms a paste.
  2. Gently rub the paste onto the stained area of the fabric with a clean cloth.
  3. Let sit for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Rinse paste off with warm water.
  5. Soak the garment in warm water and laundry detergent for 1-2 hours.
  6. Run the garment through the washing machine.

Additional Tips

  • Be sure to pre-treat any visible stains before soaking or washing the fabric.
  • If the stain persists, repeat steps 1-5.
  • Do not dry the fabric until the stain has been completely removed.
