Rouge, also known as red makeup, can be a tricky stain to remove from clothing. If it's been there for a while, it may have set and become more difficult to remove. However, don't worry, as there are quite a few different techniques you can use to get rid of that rouge stain.
The first thing you can try is to soak the rouge-stained area of your cardigan in a mixture of soap and warm water. Let it soak for at least 30 minutes and then use a brush or cloth to scrub stain gently. Rinse the fabric thoroughly with cold water when you're done and air-dry it.
If the above method didn't work, then you may want to try using detergent. Dissolve a teaspoon of detergent in two cups of warm water, then apply it directly to the stain. Rub the area gently with a brush or cloth, then rinse off the detergent and wash the fabric as normal.
If the stain still hasn't disappeared, then you can make a paste of vinegar and baking soda and apply it to stained area. Let it sit for about half an hour, then scrub it off with a brush or cloth. Rinse off paste thoroughly and then wash the garment as usual.
Another option is to soak garment in a mixture of lemon juice and warm water. Let it soak for at least 30 minutes, then scrub the stained area with a brush or cloth. Finally, rinse the fabric with cold water and air-dry it.
Removing rouge stains from clothing can be a bit of a challenge. However, with the right approach, you should be able to get rid of even the most stubborn stains. Try one of the methods above, and you should be able to get your cardigan looking as good as new!
