Getting rouge stains off your briefs is a common problem, especially when it's hot outside or if it's been an unusually active day. While removing rouge stains from briefs may sound like a daunting task, it's actually easy and straight-forward. Here are a few tips to get that rouge stain out of your briefs for good.
The first thing you should do is pretreat rouge stains. To do this, apply a color-safe solution or detergent directly to the affected area. Don't rub or scrub the stain. Then, let the solution sit for several minutes before proceeding to the next step.
After pre-treating the rouge stains, it's time to wash them in the washing machine. Use cold water and a mild detergent to wash your briefs, and make sure to choose the appropriate cycle (such as delicates) as well. For extra stubborn stains, use a pre-wash cycle setting. When done, take the briefs out of the washing machine and hang them to dry.
After washing, check for any remaining rouge stains. If there are any, you can use a stain remover specifically designed for removing rouge stains from clothing. You may also want to use a fabric softener afterwards to help restore fabric's original texture.
If you find that the stain still won't come out, you may want to try dry cleaning. This is usually a safe and effective way to remove rouge stains from delicate fabrics such as silk and lace.
Removing rouge stains from your briefs doesn't have to be a complicated task. With a little bit of pre-treatment and a gentle cycle in the washing machine, you should be able to get rid of those pesky stains in no time.
