Tools You'll Need
- Paper towels or an absorbent cloth
- Stain removal soap
- Mild laundry detergent
- Rubbing alcohol or white vinegar
Instructions
- Blot the stain with a paper towel or absorbent cloth. This will help to soak up as much of the rouge-stained liquid as possible.
- Apply stain removal soap directly to stain. Gently rub it into fabric in a circular motion.
- Rinse the affected area with cold water. This will help to remove the saponified rouge and the soap itself.
- Apply a small amount of mild laundry detergent and rub into stain in circular motions.
- Rinse area again with cold water.
- If stain persists, add a few drops of rubbing alcohol or white vinegar to the area and rub in. Allow it to sit for a few minutes before rinsing with cold water.
- Repeat steps 1-6 if necessary.
