What You Will Need
- Dish soap
- White vinegar
- Cotton swabs
- Toothbrush
- Cold water
Step 1: Rinse With Cold Water
Using cold water, rinse the area of belt that is stained with the rouge. Do not rub the area as this can cause the stain to become worse and spread.
Step 2: Soak With Soap and Vinegar
Mix together equal parts of white vinegar and dishwashing liquid in a bowl. Place the stained area of the belt into the mixture and let it soak for about 15 minutes.
Step 3: Gently Clean the Area With a Toothbrush
After the belt has soaked, use a soft-bristled toothbrush to gently scrub the area. Be careful not to scrub too hard or you may damage the material of the belt.
Step 4: Rinse With Cold Water Again
Once you have finished scrubbing the area, rinse it again with cold water. This will help to remove any remaining soap or vinegar residue.
