What You'll Need:
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
- A cloth
- Mild detergent
Instructions:
- Mix one part white vinegar with two parts baking soda in a bowl to make a paste.
- Use a cloth to apply the paste onto the stained portion of the backpack.
- Gently scrub the area for about two minutes, then rinse the paste away with lukewarm water.
- Put a mild detergent onto a damp cloth and use that to scrub the area again.
- Rinse the backpack again with lukewarm water and gently dab the area with a dry cloth to remove any moisture.
- Allow the area to air-dry completely before using your backpack again.
Tips:
- Choose a mild detergent with no bleach if possible.
- Vinegar is naturally acidic, so be sure to rinse off any residue left behind by the paste.
- If the stain persists after trying this method, repeat the steps or try a spot cleaner designed specifically for backpacks.
