Mix one teaspoon of detergent with two tablespoons of warm water, stirring until the detergent is completely dissolved. Dip a soft white cloth into the solution and dab stain gently, avoiding rubbing or scrubbing. Allow the detergent solution to sit on stain for 5-10 minutes to work its magic.
Mix baking soda and water to form a paste and apply it over the rouge stain. Gently rub the paste into the fabric in a circular motion and let it sit for a few minutes. Once dry, brush off the paste with a clean, dry cloth and rinse the area with cold water.
Mix one-quarter cup white vinegar with one-quarter cup warm water and stir. Dip an old toothbrush into the solution and gently apply to the stained area. Rinse the area with cold water once you are done brushing.
Mix one tablespoon rubbing alcohol with two tablespoons warm water and stir. Dab the solution onto stain with a white cloth and rinse with lukewarm water.
Spray a generous amount of hairspray on the rouge stain and let it sit for five minutes. Blot the area with a damp cloth and rinse with cold water. This method works better on light colored fabrics.
Getting a rouge stain out of Ann Taylor clothes may seem daunting, but with the right techniques it can be an easy fix. Try one or all of methods listed above to restore your garments' original look.
