Step 1: Blotting

Remove any excess Rouge with a damp towel or paper towel. Make sure to use light pressing motions and not rub or scrub the fabric to avoid spreading the stain.

Step 2: Pre-Treat the Stain

Mix one tablespoon of dish soap with two cups of cold water in a bowl. Dip a clean white cloth in the solution and blot the stain. Keep up this process until the stain is nearly gone.

Step 3: Wash the Garment

Be sure to check the tag on the item carefully to find out the specific instructions for washing Alexander McQueen. Generally, items are machine-washable in cold water with a delicate cycle, but always read the label for accurate cleaning instructions. If the item is labeled “dry clean only”, then you will need to take it to a professional dry cleaner.

Step 4: Air Dry the Garment

When the item has completed its wash cycle, place it on a flat surface in a well-ventilated area. Place another towel under the item to absorb any additional moisture.

Step 5: Inspect the Item

Once the item is completely dry, inspect it to see if the stain is still visible. If it is, repeat steps 2 through 4 until the stain no longer appears.
