The first thing you need to do is dab or blot the stain with a damp cloth to prevent the stain from settling in and making the material hard to clean. When blotting the stain, be sure to not rub too hard as this could cause further damage to the watch.
Mix a cleaning solution of half white vinegar and half warm water. Dip a soft cloth in the mixture and gently dab or blot the stained area. Take care not to press too hard as this could damage the watch. After cleaning, rinse the area with cool water. Do not use any harsh chemicals or abrasive materials as these could damage the finish of watch.
If the stain is still visible after using the vinegar and water mixture, try using a dab of non-gel toothpaste. Apply toothpaste on the affected area and rub it in gently using a soft cloth. After you’ve rubbed the toothpaste in, rinse the area with clean water and then dry it off with a soft cloth.
If the stain persists, try using rubbing alcohol. Make sure you pour rubbing alcohol onto a cloth and not directly onto the watch. Place the cloth over the stained area and press down firmly. Rub area for a few minutes and then rinse the area with cool water. Lastly, dry the area with a soft cloth and admire the results!
With these simple steps, your watch will be looking good as new in no time. It’s important to remember that when cleaning a watch, use only gentle cleaning methods so as to not damage the finish of the watch. Following these steps will make sure that your watch looks great for years to come.
