Using Club Soda

If the stain is still fresh, you can use club soda to help remove it. Blot up any excess liquid with a clean cloth, then pour club soda directly onto the area and blot it away with a new cloth. Rinse the area with clean water and repeat if necessary.

Using Dish Soap

If the stain has had time to dry, reach for the dish soap instead. Rub a few drops into the stain and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Then blot the area with a damp cloth and rinse. Repeat until the stain fades.

Using Salt

If the aforementioned methods don’t produce desired effect, you can try removing the stain with salt. Pour salt on top of the stain, let it sit for 10-15 minutes, then brush it away. This method might leave a white residue, but it should fade with a quick rinse.

Conclusion

Removing red wine stains from a trench coat might seem impossible, but it isn’t. Try these methods to help get your garment looking like new again.
