Step 1: Blotting Up the Excess Wine

To do this, start by covering the stained area with paper towel or tissue, and then, use another one to press firmly on the fabric in order to remove as much of the red wine as possible.

Step 2: Treating the Stain with White Vinegar

Once you’ve done the blotting process, use white vinegar to treat the stain. To do this, mix a ratio of one part white vinegar and two parts cold water and pour it into a spray bottle. Then, spray the fabric with mixture and let it sit for 5 minutes.

Step 3: Washing the Tracksuit in Hot Water

To remove red wine stain completely, machine wash the tracksuit in hot water with detergent, oxy or enzyme booster, and a normal amount of fabric softener.

Step 4: Hang to Dry

Finally, hang the tracksuit up to dry, and if necessary, repeat Steps 1 to 4 to get rid of any remaining red wine stains.
