- Rinse area with cold water.
- Soak the garment in a sink filled with cold water and one tablespoon of detergent for at least thirty minutes.
- Mix together ½ cup of salt and ¼ cup of baking soda.
- Sprinkle this mixture onto the stain and let it sit for one hour.
- Scrub the area using a toothbrush.
- Rinse the area with cold water.
