Before anything else, try and absorb as much of the red wine stain as possible by blotting it with an absorbent cloth. Place the cloth over the stained area and press gently. Do not rub, as this will only spread the stain.
Mix together a solution of one part white vinegar and one part dishwashing liquid. Dip a cotton cloth in the solution and dab stained fabric carefully. Avoid rubbing fabric, as this could cause stain to spread further. Allow the solution to sit on the stain for a few minutes before wiping off with a damp cloth.
Afterwards, rinse the fabric with cold water. If the stain is still visible, repeat the process until it is completely gone.
Finally, wash the fabric in a washing machine according to the care instructions. If the stain persists after washing, soak fabric in a bowl of cold water and white vinegar overnight.
Red wine stains on sports bras can seem like a difficult problem to tackle, however following these steps should help you to remove them effectively. With a combination of blotting, dabbing and rinsing, you should be able to easily remove stain in no time!
