1. Spot treat with white vinegar and salt

Mix a few teaspoons of white vinegar and table salt together in a small bowl and dab the stained area with it. Give it a few minutes to set before wiping off the residue.

2. Rubbing alcohol to clean the stain

Grab some rubbing alcohol and use it to soak up the stain. Let it sit for a few minutes before blotting up stain with a cloth or paper towel.

3. Using baking soda paste to lift the stain

Mix one tablespoon of baking soda with two tablespoons of water. Apply the paste to the stained area and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Once the area has had time to absorb paste, use a damp cloth to wipe away the stain.

4. Use a stain remover for deep stains

If the stain is still visible after attempting the first three methods, grab a household stain remover and follow the instructions on the package. Be sure to take the time to spot test on a hidden area of the garment to avoid potential damage.

5. Have it professionally cleaned

If the stain proves too tough to tackle, take the garment to a professional dry cleaner. They will be able to use special techniques to remove even toughest of stains.
