Removing Stubborn Red Wine Stains from Sandals

The first step in removing red wine stains from sandals is to blot the area with a paper towel or cloth. You want to be careful not to rub or scrub the stain as this can spread it further. Once you have blotted as much of the wine as possible, you can move on to the next step.

The next step is to create a mixture of 1 part white vinegar to 1 part water. Once you have the mixture, you can use a cloth to apply it directly to the stain and gently scrub away at the stain in a circular motion. Once you have covered the entire stain with the mixture, let it sit for about 10 minutes.

After the 10 minutes have passed, you can rinse the area with cold water, then use a brush to remove any remaining residue. If the stain is still present, you can repeat the process until it is completely removed.

Once you have finished cleaning stain, you can let the sandal dry naturally or use a hairdryer. Once it is completely dry, you can apply a protective layer of leather or fabric protector to sandal to help prevent future stains.
