- Next, mix together a detergent solution with one teaspoon of liquid dishwashing soap and two cups of cold water.
- Apply the detergent solution to the stained area and gently rub the solution into the fabric.
- Let solution sit for about five minutes before rinsing it off with cold water.
- Once the stained area is rinsed off, use a clean white cloth or paper towel to blot the area until all of the excess moisture is removed.
- Finally, let the raincoat air dry or use a blow dryer on a low setting.
