Step 1: Blot the Stain

Gently blot the stain with a white cloth or paper towel until it is barely visible. Do not rub stain, as this may cause it to spread further. If necessary, you can use a spoon or knife to scrape away any excess residue.

Step 2: Apply a Cleaning Solution

Soak a clean cloth or paper towel in a cleaning solution and apply it directly to stain. The cleaning solution should be gentle — such as mild dish soap, a non-acetone nail polish remover, or white vinegar diluted in water — so that it does not damage material of your pumps. Allow the cleaning solution to sit for a few minutes before wiping it off.

Step 3: Rinse and Dry Completely

Rinse area with lukewarm water and dry it thoroughly. You can use a hair dryer on a low setting to make sure the area is completely dry. Finally, you can spot treat with a fabric cleaner if necessary.
