Deep Cleaning Red Wine Stains from Your Pots & Pans

Red wine stains can easily leave an unwelcome mark on metal pots and pans. But don't worry, there are some simple tips and tricks for deep cleaning these pesky red stains.

The first step is to make sure your pot or pan is cool to the touch. Then, sprinkle salt onto the spot and let it sit for 10 minutes. The salt will absorb the stain. After that, wipe off the salt with a cloth, then use a sponge to scrub area with hot water and dish soap.

Next, mix some baking soda with warm water to create a paste. Apply this paste to the stained area and let it sit for 20 minutes. Rinse off area with hot water and use a soft brush to scrub the area gently. Afterwards, boil some white vinegar in a pot for a few minutes, and then use a cloth to apply it to the stain for another 10 minutes. Finally, rinse the area off with hot water and scrub again with dish soap.

If these steps don’t work, try using a steel wool pad with a dab of dish soap. Rub the stained area gently and rinse with hot water. You can also mix some baking soda with hydrogen peroxide and dish soap to create a paste that you can apply to the area and let sit for 15-20 minutes before rinsing off.
