Step 1: Blot the Stain

As soon as you notice the red wine stain has been made, take a cloth and blot the area immediately. This will prevent the stain from sinking deeper into the fabric.

Step 2: Soak the Fabric

Once you have blotted the area, lay the stained fabric in a sink or bowl filled with cold water. Let the fabric soak for at least an hour. If the stain persists, mix a solution of 2 teaspoons of dishwashing liquid and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar in a cup of cold water, submerge the fabric and let it soak for another hour.

Step 3: Wash the Fabric

Once the fabric has soaked for at least an hour, wash it in cold water with a mild detergent. Allow the fabric to air-dry completely before attempting to iron it.

Step 4: Repeat if Necessary

If the stain persists, repeat Steps 1 to 3 until the stain is gone.

Conclusion

With patience and these four simple steps, you can easily get rid of red wine stains on your lovely pongee fabric.
