Before diving in with cleaning solutions, the first thing to do is blot up as much of the liquid as possible. Use a paper towel or cloth to soak up any excess liquid that can be blotted up. Then you can move onto next steps.
Mix a few drops of mild dish soap in warm water and apply it to the stain. Allow it to sit on the stain for several minutes and then use a scrubbing brush to lightly scrub the area. Rinse off with clean water and then repeat the process if necessary.
If soap and water didn't work, white vinegar can do the trick. Mix a cup of white vinegar with two cups of warm water and pour it over the stain. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes and then use a scrubbing brush to scrub away the stain. Rinse with clean water afterwards.
Mix three parts baking soda with one part water to make a thick paste. Apply the paste to the stained area and let it sit for at least an hour. Use a scrubbing brush to scrub away the paste and rinse the area with water.
If the stain still won't budge, commercial cleaners and solvents can do trick. Be sure to follow the directions and safety precautions on the packaging when using these products.
The best way to prevent future red wine stains is to keep your pavers and concrete surfaces clean. Regularly sweep and mop the area to keep them looking their best.
