Removing Red Wine Stains From Your One-Piece Swimsuit

  1. Blot the stain gently with a clean cloth or paper towel to soak up as much of the excess liquid as possible.
  2. Rinse the stain with cold water.
  3. Mix 1 tablespoon of dishwashing liquid with 2 cups of warm water.
  4. Soak a clean cloth in mixture and gently dab at the stain. Continue dabbing until the stain is completely removed.
  5. Rinse the area with cold water after the stain is gone.
  6. Allow the one-piece swimsuit to air dry or pat it with a clean cloth. Do not put it in dryer.

Additional Tips for Removing Red Wine Stains

  • Be sure to use a gentle detergent and do not scrub at the stain.
  • If the stain is still visible after following the steps above, apply a paste made of equal parts of white vinegar and baking soda. Allow paste to sit on the stain for 30 minutes before washing the area with cold water.
  • Before putting your one-piece swimsuit in the washing machine, check the care label for specific laundry instructions.
