- A soft-bristle toothbrush
- White vinegar
- Cold water
Step-by-step instructions
- First, blot the area with a clean cloth. Be sure not to rub stain or else it will spread.
- Mix together one tablespoon of white vinegar and two cups of cold water.
- Using your soft-bristle toothbrush, apply the mixture to stained area and gently agitate.
- Once you are satisfied with the amount of agitation, rinse the area with clean cold water. Repeat as necessary.
- When all the red wine stains have been removed, leave the wet fabric to air dry.
Additional Tips
- Always test a small section of the fabric first to ensure no colour runs and no further damage is done.
- Use cold water only, and never hot, as this might set the stain.
