Step 1: Eliminate As Much of Red Wine as Possible

Before you do anything else, try to absorb as much of the red wine as possible. Get a few paper towels, blotting cloths, or a lint-free cloth and press down on the stain to remove as much liquid as possible. Keep blotting until you have removed all of the excess moisture.

Step 2: Pre-Treat the Area with a Stain Remover

Once you have removed as much of the red wine as possible, it's time to pre-treat area with a stain remover. Spray area with a product like VanishOx Action Pre-Soak Stain Remover and let it sit for 10 minutes before beginning the washing process.

Step 3: Wash the Jeans According to the Instructions

After the pre-treating, follow the instructions on the label of your jeans to wash them. For best results, use cold water and a gentle detergent like Persil Non Bio Liquid Detergent. You may want to double rinse jeans in order to ensure that all of cleaning agents have been removed.

Step 4: Air Dry and Check Your Results

Once the jeans have been washed and dried, inspect the stain. If the stain is still visible, you may need to repeat the steps until it disappears.
