Spilling red wine on your favourite Lacoste outfit can be a disaster, but don’t worry. With a few simple steps, you can get it looking like new. Here’s our guide to getting rid of those stubborn red wine stains on any Lacoste material.

The first step is to blot the immediate area with a dry towel, in order to absorb as much liquid as possible and keep the stain from spreading.
Mix four parts cold water with one part white vinegar in a bowl. You could also opt for a commercial cleaning solution suited for Lacoste materials.
Soak a clean, non-abrasive, soft microfiber towel in the cleaning solution and carefully dab the stained area. Do not scrub or rub material too hard, as it may damage the fibers.
Rinse the material with cold water to remove any residual cleaning solution and then use a hairdryer to dry the spot. Avoid drying the garment in direct sunlight, as it could cause the stain to become more visible.
If the stain is still visible, repeat Steps 2-4 until the stain is gone.
