Step 1: Blot Immediate Area with a Dry Towel

The first step is to blot the immediate area with a dry towel, in order to absorb as much liquid as possible and keep the stain from spreading.

Step 2: Prepare Cleaning Solution

Mix four parts cold water with one part white vinegar in a bowl. You could also opt for a commercial cleaning solution suited for Lacoste materials.

Step 3: Use a Soft Microfiber Towel

Soak a clean, non-abrasive, soft microfiber towel in the cleaning solution and carefully dab the stained area. Do not scrub or rub material too hard, as it may damage the fibers.

Step 4: Rinse with Cold Water

Rinse the material with cold water to remove any residual cleaning solution and then use a hairdryer to dry the spot. Avoid drying the garment in direct sunlight, as it could cause the stain to become more visible.

Step 5: Repeat if Necessary

If the stain is still visible, repeat Steps 2-4 until the stain is gone.
